Pitbull - I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)
Lets just cut the chase. This partytrack will be the biggest summerjam of 2009. In every country worldwide this is the song that is heating up the charts. But it has some major summer ingredients. It's easy to dance to and the well-known sample makes it easy to listen to. The combination of Spanish and English vocals by Puertorican Pitbull add some extra summer vibes.
Some will recognize the sample from big 1995 summerjam (The Bomb). by the Bucketheads. The more life-experienced readers will even say that the original sample dates back to 1979, used in “Street Player’’ by Chicago. Others might know the total production (excluding the vocals) of “75 Brazil Street” by Italian duo Nicola Fasano and Pat Rich last year. The sample use of European dance songs is Pitbulls trademark. Other productions altered with vocals by Pitbull, are The Anthem ’ (Rune – Calabria), Move Shake Drop Benny Benassi – Satisfaction) and Culo (Nina Sky – Move Your Body).
